What is an Upgrade?
An "Upgrade" means that you want to exchange (upgrade) your current software license to a higher level software license. For example, if you wanted to upgrade from GeoClassifieds Premier to GeoClassifieds Enterprise.

Geodesic Solutions offers you the ability to easily upgrade from one edition to the next. This is because all of our software is built on the same exact design and database platform. So, not only does that allow for a seamless transition between version updates, but also between the various editions of our software. We have set up this page in an attempt to help answer your upgrade questions. Although we have created an installation wizard to guide you through the setup process, one thing that cannot be done 'automatically' with a classified or auction script, is to set up a database on your server. Host's typically provide you with the information you need to set up a database for your classified ad or auction script. However, some customers would prefer that we take care of this for them. Therefore, we have set up an opportunity for you to order installation along with your Geo auction or classified ad script purchase or at a later time if you desire to attempt the installation yourself first.

Our server migration service is intended for the migration of one GeoProduct from one domain (or server) to a second domain (or server). With this service we will take an entire backup of the files and database off of the old server and use this backup to recreate your site on a new server. This service is most commonly used when a client is switching hosting companies and wants the site moved.
