New GeoCore Product
Combined all former Product Editions (GeoClassifieds, GeoAuctions, GeoClassAuctions) into one extremely powerful and versatile product now renamed to GeoCore. GeoCore offers full-blown Classified Ads and Auctions functionality!!!

Added Master Switches
Created new Master Switches for the software's admin panel for the admin to easily turn on/off 'classified listings' and 'auctions'.

Geographic/Region Enhancements
Major enhancements to the Geographic Navigation and regions browsing and setup for the site. Now easy to upload bulk regions from a simple list... i.e. Countries, Counties, Cities, etc. Also added the ability to edit the region names per language.

Verified User Option
Added option to "require" user to be verified user before allowing to place listings.

Language Form Improvements
Set the select language form remember previous user selections, sort its languages alphabetically, and moved its HTML into a template for easier editing.

Email Format Improvements
Added ability to have an e-mail header so that it allows the admin to set an admin header that will be automatically added to the top of the body for all e-mails sent by the system.

Reverse Auctions
GeoAuctions Users can choose between any one of three Auction types to list their items on your site: Standard, Dutch, and Reverse Auctions. This option is available in our GeoAuctions and GeoClassAuctions software.

Enhanced Listing Browsing
Users can browse between listing types (Classifieds and Auctions) by selecting tabs while browsing the site categories.

Meta Tags to Categories
Ability to apply meta data on a category by category basis for enhanced SEO effectiveness.

"Verified Account" Anti-Spam Feature
Ability to charge your users $1 (or amount you specify), and when that payment is received, it shows a "verified" graphic next to their username and/or next to the title for any listings the user places. This is done as an anti-spam measure, since most spammers are not willing to pay money to spam a site.

Ability to Create an Order in the Admin Panel
Ability to place listings, edit listing, upgrade listings, renew listings, etc, similar to the normal cart functionality experienced by the user on the client side. Auto-complete feature searches the database and provides suggested entries. For example, start typing in an e-mail, or address, or last name, or whatever is known about the user, and it will have that user in the auto-complete selections. Especially useful when using the Multi-Admin Addon, so you can see which admin user created a particular order.

Email Sent to Admin when Requiring Admin Approval
Software will send an email to the admin when a listing has been placed and is needing admin approval in order to go live.

Revenue Reports
Allows for the display of all incoming payments to the site by users in selected user groups during a specific time window.

Ability to Disable Proxy Bidding
Ordinarily the sofware will bid incrementally on a bidder's behalf until their max (proxy) bid that they entered for an item is reached. You can now turn this feature off so that whatever the bidder enters is automatically the current bid, thereby skipping the incremental proxy bidding process.

StoreFront Filtering by Location
The list of StoreFronts can now be filtered by the Store Owner's chosen Geographic Navigation region.

CashU Payment Gateway
CashU has been integrated with the software and now compliments a full array of payment gateways that you have to choose from.

Filter Listings based on User's Language
The language is saved for each listing placed. Then when a visitor is browsing the listings, they are filtered to only show those listings that were placed in the same language as the visitor is currently viewing.

File-Based Template System
The software makes use of the popular "file based Smarty templates". These templates can be edited in the admin panel, using a new "Design" section in the admin, or they can be edited directly using FTP to upload changes to the files, whichever you prefer. This feature is an absolute dream for web developers. It comes with a "Standard" mode, as well as, an "Advanced" mode.

In the templates, you can easily include a sub-template that can be shared between several different templates. Also, use Smarty {PHP} tags to insert PHP code directly into your template. Note that PHP code can be inserted into any template.

Ability to add YouTube videos to a listing
Users can now upload YouTube videos during the Listing Process. Those videos are automatically embedded on the Listing Display page. The admin can control (via price plan cost settings) how many videos are allowed, the pricing, and on Enterprise editions, how many "free" videos are allowed per listing.

Color Themes
The software offers 18 primary and secondary color themes which allows for 100's of possible color combinations. The raw image files are provided to you, if you would like to use them to add your own color themes. As always, you can choose not to use the default color themes/templates and completely replace the design with your own.

Optional Just-In-Time (JIT) Login/Registration
Feature allows your users to place most of their classified or auction listing before being asked to login. If your user does not have an account on the site, there is an option to have the system automatically create one for them. You can implement this process or the standard registration process. The choice is yours.

This functionality is completely separate from the "anonymous listings" addon (which doesn't require the user to login at all to place a classified listing), and can be enabled via a new switch on the Registration Settings admin page

Public Questions & Answers on listing details
Buyers may ask "public" questions to sellers, that will then be displayed in the associated listing.

Add the edit/delete buttons to listing details page
The "edit" and "delete" buttons will display on each Listing Display Page for the site admin to edit or delete the listing they are viewing. The "edit" button will display on the Listing Display Page when the "seller" of that listing is "logged in" and browsing their own listing.

Added "copy" listing feature
Sellers can create a new listing by copying one of their existing listings. This saves them time from having to type duplicate information.

Listing Tags Feature (with auto-complete!)
Added a new "listing tags" feature, that allows tags to be set for each listing. (A listing tag is basically a keyword that applies to the listing.)

• The user can browse the site by listing tag, similar to browsing by category.
• Auto-complete feature for listing tag field in listing placement and listing edit process.
• Complete control over how listing tags are used, through the fields to use settings in the admin panel.
• Browse by tag uses SEO re-written URL if the SEO addon is installed, enabled, and configured correctly.
• Can search by tag, with auto-complete built into the search.

Filmstrip View on Listing Details Page
Added Filmstrip view when displaying images on the listing details page. The filmstrip view can be used by editing the "Image Block Layout" setting on the admin page "Listing Setup > File Upload & Display Settings".

Ability to disable registration
Added the ability to easily disable user registrations, using new setting under "Registration Setup > General Settings" on the top of the page.

Bulk Uploader Addon - Revolving Inventory Uploads

Pre-Set Video and Audio Upload Types with Stock Images
System is preset to let your customers upload their own video and audio files to their auction or classified ad listing if you allow them to.

Improvements to LightBox
Changed the slideshow transition effects so that their classified and auction images fade in and out when proceeding/transitioning to the next or previous image.

"Quick Find" tab in the admin panel
Allows you to easily search for different items in the software, such as users, orders, invoices, and text.

Ability to Hide Fields from Users not currently logged in
This feature allows you to specify fields on the classified detail or auction detail display page that will be hidden from view if your visitor is not currently logged in. Your visitors will be enticed to register in order to view that information.

New payment gateway available: Netcash
The Netcash (http://www.vcs.co.za/) payment gateway is now available for use.

Added an Oodle feed which extends the existing RSS feed.
There is a new Oodle feed, that can be used to send a list of classifieds and auctions on your site to oodle.com. The file can be edited to change settings within the source code to customize various aspects of what information the feed displays.
