We are pleased to announce that the highly anticipated GeoMobile iPhone app is ready to use on your site! We have 2 options available, either use the GeoMobile iPhone app, or get your very own personal iPhone app. There are 2 main parts: the Mobile API Addon , this is the part you download from the client area on our site and install in your Geodesic software. The addon is how the app is able to "talk to" your website, to pull up listings and such and display them in the app. The second part is the iPhone app itself. The iPhone app is what your visitors will download from the app store to use on their iPhones.
For the iPhone app, you have 2 choices, either your visitors can use the main GeoMobile iPhone app and enter a "site key" to connect to your specific site. Or you have the choice to have your own personalized version of the app, that your visitors would download and connect to your site without having to enter in any site keys.
See below for a comparison of the 2 choices you have, using the shared GeoMobile iPhone app or having your own personal iPhone app:

Either option requires the Mobile API addon which you can now purchase from the client area on our site. If you are interested in your own personal iPhone app, contact us first, do not purchase the addon from the client area as the personal iPhone app has different pricing. The Mobile API addon allows the iPhone app to “talk to” your website. The addon requires Ioncube , there is no Zend Optimizer option available.
Both use the same installation instructions to install the Mobile API addon in your Geodesic software.
Both can use the latest version of the app, and get updates to the app going forward.
Both have leased pricing options, although the specific price is different, and the access to software updates is tied to the leased license.
Both require the latest version of the Geodesic software, version 6.0.4 or higher to run.
GeoMobile iPhone App (Shared by All Sites)
To start using the shared GeoMobile iPhone App on your site, just purchase the Mobile API Addon from the client area on our site, then follow the installation instructions .
Your visitors download the shared GeoMobile iPhone app, and enter in your unique site key to connect to your specific site.
Your “site name” is displayed, but all other app text is not changeable and only available in English.
All text, images, and colors are not able to be customized.
Since your visitors use the GeoMobile app that we publish, they automatically get updates that we make to the app.

The first payment will include the $49 setup fee, plus payment for the recurring option you wish to use. You can cancel payments at any time if you no longer wish to use the GeoMobile iPhone app.

When we release an update for the GeoMobile app, you can request an update for your own personal app, or continue to use the older version. There may be small update fee to cover the app customization that is needed.
Enrollment in iOS Developer Program is compulsory in order to publish your personalized iPhone app to the App Store.

Requires enrollment in iOS Developer Program , which costs $99 per year paid to Apple since you will need your own account to "publish" your personal app under. This is in addition to the pricing below.

For leased options, first payment will include $249 setup fee, plus payment for the recurring option you wish to use. You can cancel or stop making lease payments at any time, at which point your personal iPhone app will no longer work with the site.
For the paid license option, the first and only payment will be $599, and you will be able to use the personal app "forever". No additional payments are required unless you wish to update the app.
