We have just released version 4.0.6 for the Geo Classifieds, Geo Auctions, and GeoClassAuctions products. This is for Enterprise, Premier, and Basic editions. Version 4.0.6 is a maintenance release, containing an accumulation of minor fixes since the release of 4.0.5 that was out a month ago. Anyone with a license and a current software supoprt & updates package can download this new release from the client area. If your year of software support and updates has expired, be sure to renew it for an additional year so you can continue to receive new software updates like this one. (See here for more info on support and updates) If you do not yet currently have a license for one of our excellent software products, take a look at the classified ad software, auctions software, or the combination Classifieds and Auctions software products that we offer! You will get access to this latest version with any new software license you purchase, along with a full year of support and software update downloads, including any new "feature releases" that may come out within the year.

Take a look at the 4.0.6 software release announcement for all the technical details, including a list of changed files which will be handy for a lot of you who have made PHP customizations to the software (we've been doing this for a while now on Maintenance releases but not that many are aware of it). Check out the release notes to see what has changed in this version. If you are updating your Geo Classifieds, Auctions, or ClassAuctions software to the new 4.0.6, be sure to follow the update instructions in the user manual wiki. Note that we also provide professional installation and software update services if you would prefer us to update the Geo software on your site for you.

If you are a developer and are interested in how the software works, I want to take a second to point you to the developer section in the user manual wiki, if you have not seen it already I encourage you to go take a look! (Of course I did write a lot of it ;-) ) We get a lot of questions from developers new to the software, asking about how things work, that is usually one of the first resources we will point a developer to. It can help to familiarize developers with how the Geo software works, or specifically how Addons work.
