RSS Feed, Google Base & Oodle Modules
I have written many custom scripts including four that generate the following:
1. A valid RSS feed (completely customizable)
2. A valid Google Base (Google's version of oodle) feed generator
3. A valid Oodle feed generator
4. A Google Sitemap generator
Each script creates static files at some pre-determined interval using your web host's CRON feature. You want static files so you are not killing your database with live queries to generate these potentially LARGE files.
I know these sell for WAY more with other developers but this is just a hobby for me. I write this stuff for my own sites and don't rely on this income to feed my family.
Each script is $50 which includes installation / configuration (if you want me to).

just curious are these addons? Where when people upgrade it does not affect there upgrades at all?
If so why did you not follow the forum rules?

That's right Lance. The only thing that would break them would be a schema change... which Geo tends to avoid. I figure you were lonely in this category and that, in my opinion, any self-contained script that adds features and does not have any dependencies nor requires modifying source code is in keeping with the 'spirit' of an add-on.
I could have made these 'add-ons' but, as you know, it would be total overkill.
I have left the continued inclusion of my post in this category up to the moderators and am prepared to live with their decision.RULE YOUR NICHE: BOOST TRAFFIC & REVENUE INSTANTLY. THIS WORKS!

ahhh Ok I understand now. There not actual addons. The user has to edit the php files by hand themselves. Just curious is all. I see why there 50 bucks.

Right. These are simple (but highly effective) scripts that do not rely on geo code for database connections and have no dependencies so they can be called via crontab without throwing licence errors.
A user fills in a few variables like database name, username, password and how many listings they want displayed (optionally what categories) and that's all... you don't need to know php to do this folks. Just be able to type in any text editor.
If you have any questions, don't be shy. I have one of Lance's scripts and bought it when I was geo-green and needed my SEO to work better. They worked as promised.
I opted to learn php & mysql (already have heavy IT background) to make my site better without paying anyone else to do it for me. As a result, I now have the skills to make a few bucks on the side helping others benefit from my efforts...
If you want to learn how to do all this yourself, there are plenty of free resources online. However, if you just want to get something that works and focus on running and marketing your site(s) then you have the option of buying scripts from folks like me, Lance and interactive villages (perhaps more who don't shamelessly promote like we do).
At any rate, 'nuff said. Hope your geo sites prosper regardless, as mine have.RULE YOUR NICHE: BOOST TRAFFIC & REVENUE INSTANTLY. THIS WORKS!

I have paid for and have these scripts running on my site. Bill is great to work with! His scripts do exactly what he says they'll do and he is always available to answer my questions.
I highly recommend him!
