    Have you thought about making a SMS alerts as a module.

    This is where the clients who have placed a listing on your site can receive their inquiries by SMS alert (text message) so the client who has listed Ads on our Geo sites, can respond to potential sells faster.

    If our clients can have the option to receive SMS inquiry alerts, it's a real competitive advantage for our software. I've noticed other websites are starting to offer SMS alerts

    Just a thought....

    Does this works for ClassifiedAuction 4.0 too? or just Classified?
    Will the displaying of ads pageinate into multiple pages for long content or script away html codes that were posted on the web?

    I do not know exactly how the database ClassifiedAuction looks. I think he can give problems.

    Just to confirm, the database structure will be the same across all products and editions in Geo 4.0. Ever since the release of Geo 3.0.0 we use a "common software platform" for all editions, and that extends to the database structure as well.

    There is a new SMS API available from www.zeepmobile.com

    Seems pretty cool. It is beta and they include ads in the messages but it is free. The alternatives will cost you (or your customer if they keep a balance) per message...

    Might be worth looking at except that most people's phones get email now...
