Storefront listing Addon

We've created an Addon for generating a listing of storefronts on your Geo classified or auction site. This addon will show all storefronts in a table format with storefront logo, title, description and number of items. You can see an example at

I just wanted to add a few notes on this, after a brief PM conversation with Bob:

This addon will be for the Geo Storefront that is made for the current Geo 3.1.*.

The new version of the Geo Storefront will already have a Storefront List built in, although it will work differently:

IVillages Storefront List Addon (3rd party addon):

• Compatible with Geo 3.1.* and the Geo Storefront released for that version
• has a "listing count" as one of the columns

Geo Storefront 1.0:

• Not released yet (except to Geo 4.0 beta testers)
• Only compatible with upcoming Geo 4.0, so will have a minimum requirement of PHP 5. It will NOT be backwards compatible with Geo 3.1.*
• Storefront List is built into this version of the Storefront.
• At this time of this post, there is no column for listing count on the storefront list.

The primary use for the IVillages addon will be for anyone that needs a storefront list for the current Geo Storefront that is used on geo 3.1.9. I just wanted to add this info so there is no confusion on the matter, so that people are aware there will be a similar feature built in once Geo 4.0 is released. It will require using Geo 4.0, so for those that plan to stay at Geo 3.1 for whatever reason, the IVillages addon will be a good solution.

Thanks for the clarification Jonyo. Fyi, ours will also be compatible with the 4.x release as an Addon, and I'm sure we will provide extra features not found in the stock one included with the Storefronts.

Might be good idea if Geodesic could add a column for listing count on the storefront list.

I suppose Geo could just look at our implementation, copy all of our functions into their products and then completely alienate their third party developers. Oops, sorry Microsoft has already started this practice.

Before when I said the Geo version did not have a listing count: I was wrong, sorry about that.

The storefront list that is built into Storefront 1.0.* that goes with Geo 4.0 does display the listing count (that I was not previously aware of).

It's always had the listing count since the feature was first created probably a year or so ago. Sorry for any confusion.
