What is your most effective price plans, price points??
I am thinking how your geo sites has been doing...
and what kind of configurations of price plans or price points is the most effective in getting customers and revenue....
We have been running 2 ad plans - one free posting, and one monthly subscriptions,
but we seem not be able to get it right still....
most people just sign up for the free plan, and never upgrade any features...
Please share your thoughts and experience.

I don't know if my answer will be of any kind of help but here goes...
From the very beginning I never intended to use classified ads on my site to generate revenue from the ads themselves. My goal has always been to use the ads as a reason for people to visit for a first time and then to re-visit often. In this regard, the ads have succeeded beautifully. I make my income from things like Google AdSense and affiliate programs.
I offer free ads with paid optional enhancements (more photos, Featuring, etc.) Although I don't make too much money directly from the ads, I will continue to keep them on my site as they are a main reason people return to the site (to see the new ads listed).
With so many classified ad systems out there, and with the majority of them being free, I don't know how to make ads themselves pay a decent income. I'm sure it can be done, but I chose another route which has turned out to be very good to me.
I know this wasn't a direct answer to your question, but it is related so I thought I'd mention it. Best of luck.

Search engines like content. The people placing ads are helping you on that (they automatically type in a description for their ads). In addition, what I have done is make a LOT of other pages with good content related to my site. (By "good content" I mean articles.) My site is horse / cowboy related, so on my non-classifieds pages I have written articles related to horses, cowboys, etc. Then, on those pages, I've also placed affiliate content (mostly eBay, but others as well). See this page for an example http://www.cowboyway.com/Cowboy-Chaps.htm . Underneath the affiliate listings is an article (good content for the search engines to find) and photos (search engines like a few photos, too.)
For search engine traffic, it's a win-win. People find the site because the search engines have found the ads, and they also find it because the search engines have found the articles. People return because of the ads, and somewhere along the way enough people are buying stuff through the affiliate links, or clicking on the AdSense ads, that it makes a living.
To find a good affiliate program start searching the search engines ("affiliate program boats" or whatever). You can also sign up with a big outfit like Commission Junction.com. Through them you can find a lot of affiliate programs and you get one check every month for all the affiliate programs you have earned an income through for that month combined. I recommend Commission Junction.com and ShareASale.com.
Hope this is helpful.
