Scrolling Banner module?
We just completed development of an "Auctiva-like" scrolling banner box that shows all listings in a window. This is kind of a cool script and we are planning to customize it for general use. You can find an example by clicking any ad at http://going-twice.com/listings/index.php
If anyone has any comments or ideas on what ads to show, please post to this thread. We are thinking of allowing switches to show only Featured Ads, or ads from a single category or ads from a single user. Maybe allow it to be packaged and sold or given to sellers to put on their own websites? Any thoughts?
Thanks, Bob

Bob --- I would LOVE for this to be an upgrade that we can offer to users to showcase their own listings, either within the site or on their own website.
This is an absolutely EXCELLENT idea. {and gives us auction site owners a little something to offer ---- those classies get all the good stuff

Thanks Sheila, I'll let you know when we have it ready to install. I'm sure that we can make it work for both classifieds and auctions!

I knew that.
It's just that the cost per ad is better for the classifieds, and some of the usual 'money makers' on auctions {scheduled listings, reserve prices etc} are already standard.
We need an upgrade we can charge for.
