OK, upgraded to the latest upgrade. Inserted the same tags and again, works for main page and categories, but not sub categories.

Yes, I did take the pre-existing tags and inserted what I have above. It works for the main page and each of the categories, but not the sub categories. I need to upgrade to the latest... could that...

OK I threw it together with sample keywords etc., but this is how I did the category numbers etc.

Have you tried the meta tags in the sub categories? I've followed the manual to a 'T' and cannot get the sub category meta tags to work. It just keeps showing the main category tags in the source...

This is just what I was looking for! Thanks for posting it. Did you understand that it will work for subcategories as well? I'm a bit confused on that.
