Has anyone tried to get their website listed on Bing? It's possible to get your site listed on Google and Yahoo! Does not look as if it's possible, maybe because they're a beta system...?

I thought that Yahoo now used Bing as it's search engine. http://www.pcworld.com/article/169261/what_the_microsoftyahoobing_deal_means_for_you.htm l
Maybe it's not yet implemented.

I thought BING was Microsoft's search engine. Yes, I looked it up and Bing belongs to Microsoft.
I've been using Norton's Safe Search, powered by ASK.com. It seems to be pretty good actually. I've been able to find what I want.
I got some Malware last month that was a pain to get off my computer so I've been more cautious about browsing the web lately. In fact, I've come to the conclusion I don't care for Google very much anymore because so many of the links that come up are those trashy fake sites that are just lists of things. Somehow they manage to capture the words from your search and generate a page that sorta looks like what you want. I'm sick of running into those. Most of them aren't safe.
When I was cruising around BING just now, I noticed that those fake sites didn't seem to be on the list of results. And Norton's Safe Search filters out those trashy sites too. I used to think Google was the only search engine, but these others are good.

I prefer hotbot myself, back before it went to the dark side and turned into "bannerbot"... Back in the day hotbot was THE search engine people "in the know" used (well at least it was the one I used)... That was before Google was even invented!
Wow, it looks like hotbot is still around?!? I wonder if it is any good...
And to be on topic, I didn't know Bing was beta, they sure look like they are out of beta now and have been for a little while. They have a really annoying ad campaign going right now here in the states, at least where I am.
