I have been playing around with Basic for a while now and I am trying to find out how to advertise on a specific "searched" page (Not item Page).
For example: A realtor wants to put an ad on a page that would come up when you search under houses. How do you acheive that outcome?
Thank You in advance.

Basic is for getting a taste of what geo can do for you... if you are serious about running a classifieds and/or auctions, then buy the enterprise version and be done with it. Seriously.... trying to mod such a lightweight version is not worth it and if you actually expect to make any money from hosting ads, you will need to bite the bullet sooner or later.
IMHO (I was there a few years ago and have not looked back after trying many free/cheap classifieds and a few other paid scripts which could not take the traffic)

Buy Adpeeps
You can put category specific ads (google style, yahoo style, banners etc.) on specific category or other pages and rotate them automatically.
It's also better to go for either the Enterprise Classified or Geoclassauction version of the software first.
I have been playing around with the Geodecisions basic version on one of my less popular sites - www.ntbargains.com (http://www.ntbargains.com) - using Adpeeps.
Compare trhis with the largwr more popular Gelclassauction site -www.australianbargains.com - where I have more category specific Adpeep ads.
