Hi,
I don't embed eBay auctions directly on my ad pages, but I do provide links to other pages on my site that show eBay auctions. For example, you can see this page (look at the bottom for the eBay links): http://www.cowboyway.com/ads/index/listings/page14788.htm . This works extremely well for me.
I may embed auctions directly on the ad pages in the future. I'm not doing that now for the sake of download times.

I like your idea Festus. Could you tell me the steps you used to put the ebay info on your site

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply......I got busy reading other threads for awhile and didn't check back in on this thread.
Anyhow, to embed an eBay auction first join the eBay affiliate program (http://www.ebaypartnernetwork.com ). Once joined, there are several eBay affiliate "tools" you can choose from to create code to embed in your website. Personally, I find their Editor Kit tool to be the best. You tell the Editor Kit what search terms to use, then it builds you a small piece of code that shows the current eBay auctions that are using the same terms. Then you take the code and put it into your site wherever you choose.
Hope that info helps.

How well does posting these eBay ads work as far as getting relevant ads to show?

Hi,
If you work at it a little when setting up the eBay ads they can be highly targeted. You may have to give it a couple of tries (tell the eBay tool to add another keyword, or prohibit certain words, etc.) but results can usually be targeted very well. There's a preview (when using the eBay Editor Kit tool) so you can tweak your results before ever actually putting them on your site.

My 2cents worth...
I never made enough commission from ebay ads so I stopped including in my site. I was driving traffic to ebay, it was doing nothing for my page rank and was using up valuable ad space and I was making little to no money as a result.
I moved to more adsense and make a tidy little income off those clicks monthly...
