The Sharing Add On now allows your site to be tied in with the most popular social networking sites, including Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, MySpace, Digg, and Reddit. Sellers and their visitors can quickly post a link to any listing on your site, driving more attention and traffic to your site.
This Add On is also set up to allow your sellers to easily post their listings to Craigslist.com. A simple click of a button will display the default content for even the most novice seller to copy/paste from your site to Craigslist.com.
Sharing links will show up on the listing details page next to each listing's title, as well as, on the seller's "My Active Listings" page.
When one of the sharing links is clicked the user will be taken to that link's website and asked to login (if not already). A default message (to share) will be displayed which includes a short default message and a link back to the listing. The exact message will vary depending upon which sharing site has been selected by the user. Messages are editable by the user before sharing them.
The Sharing Addon shows up on the Listing Display Page next to the listing's title and allows the seller and site visitors to share the listing on popular social networking sites:
Within the seller's My Active Listings page, each listing will have a Sharing Link as shown below:
If the seller chooses to share their listing on Craig's list the following image shows an example of the html the sharing addon generates for them to copy and paste to Craig's List:
If the site visitor chooses to share the listing on their Facebook page, the following image shows an example of how they can first add their comments:
This is how it will appear on their Facebook wall:
